Steely Dom Films Diversity Policy
My parents were deaf-mutes, so I got an up-close and personal view about diversity. I remember my father once telling me, because he was deaf, he couldn't get a good paying job in the steel mill or join the army and fight in World War Two like his brothers did. When I think about how he felt about being excluded from certain things in life, it breaks my heart to this day. Needless to say, diversity is very important to me.
The Don Of West Hollywood feature film will include people of many colors, little people, amputees, wheel chair users, and a deaf-mute character. When these actors leave the set, they will be smiling and filled with pride because they were paid actors that played an important part in this comedy feature film. I can't wait to put them to work!
